Aleks K Production : Hot Ice Distortion and Honey Moon Overdrive (Stacked)
This is a quick demonstration showing the stacking potential of the Hot Ice Sweet Distortion and Honey Moon Sweet Overdrive. The settings that I begin with were suggested by Aleks K himself. High gain singing lead tones are the order of the day here with the Honey Moon adding some fuel to the Hot Ice’s already pumped gain. Great fun.
The Hot Ice Sweet Distortion from Vancouver based Aleks K Production is an impeccably built distortion that features two individually voiced drives, a ‘Juice’ control and enough tonal and gain variation to let it cross the line between medium and high gain distortion. The Hot Ice Sweet Distortion has already found favour with Devin Townsend and other notables and it’s easy to see why. You can view my demo of the Hot Ice athttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mumJ3… .
The Honey Moon Sweet Overdrive features two separately voiced drives, a filter control and enough tonal and gain variation to let it cross the line between overdrive, boost and distortion. This pedal will be released to the market from the Aleks K Production website in mid September, 2013. Highly recommended.
