Devi Ever: US & Eventide: SPACE (stereo)
I’ve had the US fuzz one and a Godzilla for a while and this video is long overdue. Unfortunately I cannot demo the Godzilla because Kevin Shields has it (long story) and I’m unlikely to ever see it again.
For this video I’ve paired the US with an Eventide Space, my Smitty Hog, a Laney L50H stack (left side) and a Fender Super-Sonic V-Custom LTD (right side). The name of the fuzz reminded me of one of my favourite old tunes, “Galveston”, so I’ve attempted a sort of variations on a theme approach to that song while trying to show off the fuzz and the glorious stereo-ness of the Eventide.
I regard Devi as a friend of mine and she makes some of the wildest fuzzes and blip boxes you could ever have the good fortune to have fun with. Give ’em a shot if you get a chance.
